Pilates is a structured form of exercises that in Compass Physio is led by an APPI Chartered Physiotherapist. Pilates is designed to:
Increase core strength
Reduce risk of injury
Assist in recovery post injury
It is in a small class environment with each class member being carefully monitored by the physiotherapist.
Correction is sometimes required to maintain good form and to ensure the best results are achieved from the class
Pilates exercise classes can include use of small equipment such as balls, resistance bands and magic circles to keep your workout interesting and challenging.
